How to spend €150,000

If I had €150,000 I know exactly what I'd do. First of all, I'd buy a lot of books for me, because I really like reading. I'd buy some summer clothes, bacause yesterday I changed the wardrobe and I don't have much clothes. Next, I'd buy things for my family. I'd buy a new camera for my sister, because she loves photography. I'd buy a toolbox for my dad, because he loves do-it-yourself things. For my mum I'd buy a travel to Granada, because she wants to see her mum, because she is ill. The third thing I'd do is invite all my friends to a lunch. Finally, to help the poor people in my city, I'd donate some money to a charity that helps people who have famine.

Introduction
I haven't changed a lot in the past five years, but I look different, and I have differents opinions.

Appearance
My hair used to be shorter than now and I used to wear jewellery but now I don't wear. My style of clothes hasn't changed very much because I still wear casual clothes: jeans, T-shirt,...

School
Five years ago, I didn't go to secondary school. I was at primary school. My favourite subject was catalan, but now I prefered science and I hated catalan! We didn't use to get any homework and exams at primary school, but now we get a lot!

Free time
Five years ago, I used to go to the park with some friends, but now I don't go out during the week. I stay at home doing my homework and studying. At weekends, I usually meet my friends. I didn't used to read a lot, but now I do.

Conclusion
I think my life is better now than it was five years ago. Although I have to work harder, I'm happier and more independent.

MY TOWN - 50 YEARS AGO AND NOW by Cristina

I live in a small city, Viladecans, in Barcelona. 50 years ago the city was very different.

Buildings
It was much smaller and most of the buildings were already very old. Now there are a lot of block of flats. The shops used to be smalls and they there were in the centre of town.
There didn't use to be a shopping centre, because Viladecans was almost all fields.
A lot of people worked on livestock and agriculture. Now there is a shopping centre.

Transport
Transport is very different too. People used to travel on foot, because there wasn't another form. Now people travel by cars, because there are more roads. In Viladecans, there are a train station and a lot of buses too.

Social life
Fifty years ago there was cinema on Saturday and taverns. People used to go to traditional parties. The children played in the square of the village, and they went to cinema too. Now it is different.There is a cinema, a sport centre, a library... There are a lot of shops too.

Conclusion
In conclusion, life was quieter then, and was interesting too, but I think life is funnier now, because there are more things to do.

My image
I think that my image is very usual. I don’t think that my clothes are uncomfortable because I usually wear jeans and a T-shirt. I sometimes wear make-up on special occasions. I hardly ever wear jewellery because I am always in a hurry!

Three things that I love
I really like reading before going to bed. My favorite book is The Shadow of the Wind, of Carlos Ruiz Zafón. I also love cooking with my mum at the weekend because we are very happy at this moment. The third thing I love is my grandma, although she’s far away, because she lives in Andalucía. I visit her in summer and Christmas.

Three things that I hate
 I hate the people that don’t stop talking and who never listen to other people. The second think I hate is having arguments with my parents because then, I feel guilty. I hardly ever have arguments with them.
The third thing I hate is the people who don’t respect the environment, because they don’t respect other people and don’t respect themselves.
